RAK Ceramics, one of the world’s largest tile manufacturing multinationals, has announced the appointment of Shiko Ghosh as the Business Head – Export.

With over 18 years of extensive experience across the building materials, ceramics, tiles, marble, and sanitaryware sectors, Ghosh brings a proven track record in global market development, profit center operations, and international logistics.

In his new role, Ghosh will be responsible for driving RAK Ceramics’ international sales, deepening distributor and JV networks, and overseeing the establishment of global showrooms and offices. He will also lead the company’s export logistics and marketing teams while expanding its footprint across key international markets.

“As the Business Head – Export for RAK Ceramics, I’ll primarily be focusing on the Southeast Asian markets, along with select countries in Africa and parts of Europe,” shiko Ghosh said. “I’m excited to begin this new chapter with one of the world’s leading tile manufacturing multinationals. RAK Ceramics is uniquely positioned in the evolving global ceramics landscape, and I look forward to building strong partnerships and bringing the brand closer to its customers.”

He added, “The global ceramics industry is transforming. While multinationals like RAK Ceramics maintain a clear edge in quality and trust, we must now focus on enhancing customer experience through local showrooms, regional depots, and meaningful joint ventures.”

Ghosh’s strategic insight aligns with RAK Ceramics’ vision of expanding its global retail and project networks by establishing a direct presence in key regions.

From managing over 47 import operations across 28 countries to leading large-scale international exhibitions, his deep understanding of global logistics and market dynamics is expected to play a pivotal role in the company’s next phase of growth.

RAK Ceramics, established in 1989 in the UAE, is one of the world’s largest ceramics brands. With 23 state-of-the-art plants across the UAE, India, Bangladesh, and Europe, RAK manufactures tiles, sanitaryware, faucets, and tableware, exporting to 150+ countries with a capacity of 118 million square meters of tiles annually.
