Safexpress has opened a new logistics park in Varodara, Gujarat, to strengthen supply chain connectivity and meet warehousing needs in the region. The facility is located on Varodara – Halol Highway, Asoj, Waghodia, Varodara, and was inaugurated by senior company dignitaries.
The new park spans 240,000 square feet and offers advanced transhipment and third-party logistics services. The cross-dock setup enables simultaneous loading and unloading of more than 50 vehicles. The facility has a column-free span of over 105 feet and 16-foot-wide cantilever sheds to allow all-weather operations.
Vadodara is a key business hub in Gujarat with industries like petrochemicals, engineering, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and information technology. Industrial zones like GIDC and IOC plants support manufacturing growth and attract investors with infrastructure and a skilled workforce.
Safexpress said the new park will help address infrastructure gaps and improve supply chain speed for businesses in Gujarat and nearby states.
The facility includes firefighting systems, trained staff for emergencies, a rainwater harvesting system, a green zone, and energy-saving features like maximum use of natural light.
The company said it aims to ensure faster transit times from Gujarat to other parts of India with this new facility.
