SAL Logistics Services has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Royal Jordanian Airlines to enhance air cargo connectivity and streamline logistics operations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Jordan, further reinforcing regional trade corridors.

The agreement aims to optimise cargo handling processes, improve transit efficiency, and expand capacity across key trade routes served by Royal Jordanian’s passenger and freighter network. Through this collaboration, SAL Logistics will provide integrated ground handling and cargo terminal services across its facilities in Saudi Arabia, ensuring seamless movement of shipments.

Officials from both organisations highlighted that the partnership will focus on delivering faster turnaround times, enhanced digital integration, and improved service reliability for exporters and importers. The agreement is also expected to support the growing demand for e-commerce shipments, perishables, pharmaceuticals, and high-value cargo moving between the two countries and onward to global destinations.

By combining SAL Logistics’ advanced cargo infrastructure and operational expertise with Royal Jordanian’s extensive regional and international network, the collaboration is set to create new opportunities for trade growth and supply chain efficiency.

The move aligns with broader efforts to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s position as a leading logistics hub under Vision 2030, while enabling Royal Jordanian to expand its cargo footprint and improve service offerings in the Gulf market.

Further operational details and route expansions under the agreement are expected to be announced in the coming months.
