Satish Honnakkatte assumed office as the Deputy Chairperson of Cochin Port Authority on 21st March 2025. Prior to this, he held the position of Chief Mechanical Engineer in various ports for the last 18 years. Also, before this, he had served for around 7 years in the Shipping Corporation of India Ltd and around 10 years in Ports.
Shri Satish Honnakkatte, hailing from Mangalore, is a Mechanical Engineer holding a B.Tech (Mechanical) certificate from Calicut University and is also a qualified Marine Engineer with MEO Class I (Motorship) certificate, issued under the Merchant Shipping Act.
