Saudia Cargo has signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening freight operations and supporting cargo growth at Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport, as Saudi Arabia continues expanding its logistics and aviation infrastructure.

The agreement is expected to focus on enhancing cargo handling capabilities, improving operational efficiency, and attracting more international freight traffic through Madinah Airport. Industry officials said the partnership could support the movement of general cargo, e-commerce shipments, perishables, and other high-value goods.

The initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia’s broader logistics development strategy under Vision 2030, which seeks to position the Kingdom as a major global transport and supply chain hub. Expanding air cargo infrastructure at Madinah is also expected to strengthen regional trade connectivity and create new opportunities for logistics service providers and exporters.
