Captain Som Raj, Director (Personnel & Administration) at SCI, along with senior officials and the SCI team, formally received the vessel upon berthing. The corporation commended the Master, Chief Engineer, and crew for their professionalism, resilience, and dedication throughout the voyage.
Acknowledging the broader support system behind the operation, SCI expressed its gratitude to the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways and the Directorate General of Shipping, along with other stakeholders, for their continued guidance and assistance.
The successful voyage of MT Desh Garima highlights the vital role played by India’s national carrier in maintaining uninterrupted energy supply lines during demanding times.
