    The Tiruppur Exporters’ Association (TEA) officially launched Logics of Logistics – Guidelines for Exporters on 8 August 2025, marking a significant milestone in strengthening the logistics capabilities of the Tiruppur textile industry.

    Mr. N. Thirukkumaran, General Secretary, TEA, highlighted that the handbook will serve as a remarkable guide for exporters and praised the dedicated efforts of Mr. Kumar Duraiswamy, Joint Secretary, Mr. R.K. Sivasubramaniam, Chairman, Membership Sub Committee, and the logistics panel members for their contributions.

    Mr. Kumar Duraiswamy, Joint Secretary, TEA, expressed gratitude to Mr. Anand Mohan Mishra, JDGFT, Coimbatore, for assuring that the concerns of exporters regarding U.S. tariff impositions would be taken up with the Central Government. He also acknowledged the support of Dakshin Bharat Gateway Terminal Pvt. Ltd, Thoothukudi, for sponsoring the initiative.

    In his address, Mr. K.M. Subramanian, President, TEA, expressed confidence that the U.S. tariffs are temporary challenges and reaffirmed that Tiruppur exporters, like the phoenix, will rise above all obstacles. He emphasized that the handbook would serve as a ready reckoner for all stakeholders in the logistics process.

    Padmashri Dr. A. Sakthivel, Hon. Chairman, TEA, commended the initiative, appreciating the leadership of the TEA President in taking a pioneering step to create a logistics handbook. He also thanked Mr. Anand Mohan Mishra for effectively addressing long-standing issues of the industry since assuming charge in Coimbatore.

    Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Anand Mohan Mishra, JDGFT, Coimbatore, announced that a seminar on the India–UK Free Trade Agreement will soon be jointly organized with TEA. He also underlined that the handbook would serve as an effective guide for exporters navigating the logistics ecosystem.
