Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the Multi-Modal Logistics Park (MMLP), Paradip, one of the newest terminals of the Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR), on 27th November 2023, by virtual mode at a ceremony organised by Paradip Port Authority at Paradip.
CONCOR, a Navratna PSU of Govt. of India, Ministry of Railways is committed to provide end-to-end logistics solutions to the trade. As a step in this direction, MMLP Paradip has been developed over 100 Acres land allotted by the Paradip Port Authority on lease. The facility is equipped with seven Railway lines, warehouses, modern handling machines, in-motion weigh bridges, dedicated shunting locomotive besides many other ancillary facilities. A CFS is also planned to be set up at this location. Being located strategically adjacent to the port, and in the near vicinity of many prominent industrial areas under the jurisdiction of Khurda division of East Coast Railway , the MMLP is best suited for handling various commodities, viz. fertilizers, gypsum, coal, CP coke, rice, fly ash, sponge iron, pipes, etc. and is equipped to handle both international and domestic traffic, besides acting as a Rail-linked PFT, with seamless connectivity with rail, road and sea.
