TVS Supply Chain Solutions Ltd (TVS SCS) on Wednesday announced the acquisition of Hyderabad-based third-party logistics firm Swamy & Sons 3PL (S&S3PL) for an enterprise value of ₹88 crore, strengthening its warehousing and distribution footprint in southern India.
With this acquisition, TVS SCS gains access to an additional 4 million sq ft of warehousing space across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, including 116 warehouses, over 600 vehicles, and a customer base of 60–70 new logos, according to K Sukumar, CEO – TVS SCS India, Middle East & Africa. TVS SCS currently operates around 20 million sq ft of warehousing space across India.
The transaction will be funded through internal accruals. S&S3PL reported an annual revenue of ₹207 crore in FY25, the company said in a release.
This marks TVS SCS’s first acquisition since 2021, when it acquired Bengaluru-based FIT 3PL, adding 1.5 million sq ft of warehousing capacity.
The acquisition is expected to strengthen TVS SCS’s distribution business, which currently contributes around 18 per cent of its overall revenue. S&S3PL brings strong capabilities in handling textiles, confectionery, cosmetics, white goods, and perishable products, supported by temperature-controlled warehousing. The deal also adds value-added services such as co-packing, bundling, kitting, labeling, and tinting, particularly for FMCG and consumer goods clients.
“S&S3PL’s deep expertise in FMCG supply chains, strong geographic reach, and market leadership in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana significantly enhance our ability to serve large customers,” Sukumar said. He added that the acquisition positions TVS SCS among the top warehousing 3PL service providers in India, while strengthening its capability to support third-party dark stores at scale.
Arun Swamy, Promoter of Swamy & Sons, will continue to lead the company and support customers through the ownership transition.
