The Uttar Pradesh government has launched the website of the Uttar Pradesh State Horticulture Export Promotion Board to help farmers and exporters connect with international markets and expand overseas sales of horticultural produce.

The portal provides information on potential overseas markets for surplus produce from different districts, along with destination-country quality standards, export procedures, government support, subsidies and other export-related guidance.

Uttar Pradesh Horticulture Minister Dinesh Pratap Singh said the initiative would help connect farmers directly with global markets. The state currently has around 3,000 exporters operating across all 75 districts, compared with exporters previously concentrated mainly in major cities.

Exports of horticultural and agro-processed products from Uttar Pradesh have risen from ₹727 crore in 2016-17 to ₹1,132 crore in 2025-26. The state’s agricultural and horticultural products are being shipped to markets including the US, UAE, Germany, Saudi Arabia, UK, Australia, Canada and Sweden.

The new platform is expected to improve farmers’ access to export information and support the state’s efforts to increase agricultural exports and integrate more producers into global supply chains.
