    Shri Susanta Kumar Purohit, IRSEE, Chairperson, V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority (VOC Port), Tuticorin, participated as a distinguished panellist at the ETGovernment National PSU Residential Summit 2025, themed “Championing Innovation, Catalysing Viksit Bharat’s Growth Story.”

    Speaking in the session “PSUs as Catalysts for Atmanirbhar and Viksit Bharat: Redefining Infrastructure,” Shri Purohit joined senior leaders from major public sector undertakings and government institutions to deliberate on the evolving role of PSUs in strengthening India’s infrastructure backbone, enhancing self-reliance, and enabling sustainable economic growth.

    During the discussion, emphasis was laid on innovation-driven infrastructure development, operational efficiency, and collaborative approaches between PSUs and stakeholders to support India’s long-term growth ambitions.

    Reiterating its strategic vision, V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority reaffirmed its commitment to advancing India’s infrastructure goals through continuous innovation, efficiency-led operations, and partnerships that contribute meaningfully to Atmanirbhar Bharat and the journey towards a Viksit Bharat.
