    V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority has secured the third position in the “Container Cargo Greater than or Equal to 0.5 Million TEUs” category at the Sagar Aankalan – Logistics Port Performance Index (LPPI) 2024-25, organised by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways in Mumbai.

    The award was presented by Sarbananda Sonowal and received by Susanta Kumar Purohit on behalf of the port authority.

    The recognition highlights VOC Port’s continued focus on operational excellence, logistics efficiency and service performance. The ranking reflects the port’s efforts to strengthen cargo handling capabilities, improve supply chain connectivity and enhance overall competitiveness in the maritime sector.

    The achievement further reinforces VOC Port’s position among India’s leading major ports and underscores its strategic contribution to the development of the country’s maritime infrastructure and port-led economic growth initiatives.
