    Visakhapatnam Port Authority announced in a media release that it has achieved a record 50 million MT in the first 228 days of the fiscal 2023-24. This achievement surpasses its previous record of 50 million MT in 251 days in the financial year 2022-23.

    Dr.Angamuthu, IAS, Chairperson, VPA, appreciated and congratulated the Traffic Manager B. RatnaSekhar Rao and his team for their remarkable hard work and dedication towards this special achievement / milestone. Chairperson also appreciated all the VPA officers, staff, and the PPP operators and all other stakeholders. He further advised to keep up the pace and momentum to reach the set target of 83 million MT for the entire fiscal 2023-24, which has been fixed by the Ministry of Ports Shipping and Waterways.
