    The Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) has set a new cargo handling record by surpassing 80 million metric tonnes per annum (MMTPA) just four days before the end of financial year 2023-24.

    This achievement by thes VSP exceeded the record of the previous financial year which marked 73.75 MMTPA. The Visakha Container Terminal (VCT) reported a notable 28% increase in container volumes, reaching approximately 6,65,000 TEUs (Ten Equivalent Units ).
