Wan Hai Lines’ vessel Wan Hai 503 has resumed cargo discharge operations after an onboard incident, the company confirmed.

The incident, which occurred earlier this week, temporarily disrupted port operations and cargo handling. Following safety assessments and remedial measures, the vessel has continued unloading at the designated port, with operations proceeding under strict monitoring to ensure safety and minimise further delays.

Port authorities and the carrier said there were no major injuries or environmental impacts reported. Shipping and logistics stakeholders are monitoring the situation, as some shipments may experience minor schedule adjustments due to the temporary disruption.

Wan Hai Lines stated that it remains committed to maintaining service reliability and is coordinating with customers to manage affected cargo and mitigate delays.
