X-Press Feeders has announced the launch of its new China East Mediterranean X-PRESS (CEX) service, marking a significant expansion of its network connecting China, the Red Sea, and the East Mediterranean region.

Scheduled to commence on 23 June 2026, the CEX service will be the carrier’s first direct service linking China with key East Mediterranean ports. The new route is designed to enhance trade connectivity and provide shippers with improved access to fast-growing markets across the region.

The service will call at the strategically important ports of Alexandria, Aliaga, Istanbul, and Mersin, offering direct connections from major Chinese export hubs.

In addition to strengthening East Mediterranean coverage, the CEX service will complement X-Press Feeders’ existing China Red Sea X-PRESS (CRX) service. Through the hub port of Jeddah, customers will gain seamless access to the carrier’s wider regional network, including connections to Aqaba, Sokhna, Aden, Port Sudan, and key Indian gateways such as Nhava Sheva and Mundra.

The introduction of the CEX service reflects X-Press Feeders’ continued focus on expanding regional connectivity and providing flexible, efficient transport solutions across major trade corridors linking Asia, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean.

    CEX Service Rotation:

    Qingdao – Shanghai – Ningbo – Nansha – Jeddah – Alexandria – Aliaga – Istanbul – Mersin – Jeddah – Port Klang – Qingdao.

With the launch of CEX, X-Press Feeders further strengthens its position in intra-regional container shipping, offering enhanced market access and improved supply chain options for customers trading between China, the Red Sea, the East Mediterranean, and beyond.
