“Through this association with Magenta Mobility, we are driving the future of smart logistics with advanced, eco-friendly transportation solutions,” said S S Gill, chief commercial officer, VE Commercial Vehicles. He highlighted the Eicher Pro X’s design, which caters to the growing demand for high-performance, energy-efficient vehicles in mid-mile and last-mile delivery. This aligns with Magenta Mobility’s decarbonisation efforts.

Maxson Lewis, founder and CEO of Magenta Mobility, described the partnership as a pivotal moment in transforming last-mile logistics in India. He emphasised that the collaboration strengthens the company’s ability to offer efficient, sustainable, and reliable transportation solutions. It also aligns with their vision of delivering high-performance, eco-friendly options for a diverse customer base.

The Eicher Pro X range, launched at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, represents Eicher’s entry into the 2-3.5T segment. It prioritises cargo space, energy efficiency, and driver comfort, including air-conditioned cabins and advanced safety features. Developed in collaboration with logistics companies in e-commerce, FMCG, and parcel & courier services, the Eicher Pro X addresses the evolving needs of these sectors. It is designed for city and near-city distribution, offering a tight turning radius and excellent visibility.

Magenta Mobility currently operates a fleet of over 2,600 electric vehicles across more than 18 cities in India. The company is actively expanding its presence and scaling its fleet to meet increasing demand. Magenta Mobility remains focused on sustainable growth and promoting the adoption of electric mobility in logistics.
