Global logistics leader GEODIS has successfully executed the transport of four oversized and highly sensitive cargo units, each measuring 80 feet, from India to Australia under its industrial project logistics operations.
The move was carried out using a Roll-on/Roll-off (RORO) vessel, chosen specifically to minimize lifting risks and ensure safe handling of the over-dimensional and delicate engineering-critical units.
Scope of Operations Included:

Inland Transportation: Deployment of special multi-axle trailers for safe movement from origin to port.

Lashing & Securing: Custom-engineered solutions to maintain cargo integrity throughout the sea voyage.

The project emphasized safety, structural integrity, compliance, and real-time visibility, ensuring the cargo reached its destination on time and damage-free.
