    Haldia Dock Complex (HDC) recorded a historic milestone today with the successful berthing of MV SITC ZHI at its container terminal during the morning tide. The vessel arrived with a draft of 9.20 metres and a Length Overall (LOA) of 171.90 metres, marking the first instance of such a deep-draft container vessel calling at HDC since its inception.

    This achievement highlights HDC’s enhanced marine capabilities and operational efficiency, enabling the port to handle larger container vessels with greater ease. It sets a new benchmark for the complex and significantly strengthens its position as a key gateway for international trade in the region.
