CMA CGM and COSCO Shipping have revised their jointly operated round-the-world service connecting the Far East with the Caribbean, as part of efforts to optimise vessel deployment and network efficiency.
The revised service is aimed at improving schedule reliability and aligning capacity with demand on long-haul east–west and north–south trade lanes. The carriers are adjusting port rotations and sailing schedules to enhance connectivity for cargo moving between key Asian manufacturing hubs and Caribbean markets.
The round-the-world Far East–Caribbean service supports a wide range of cargo, including consumer goods, industrial products and project cargo, while also providing transhipment links to the Americas and other regions.
CMA CGM and COSCO Shipping continue to fine-tune their global service networks in response to changing trade patterns, operational constraints and customer requirements.
