Aeroprime Group has been appointed as the exclusive cargo General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA) across India for TAP Air Portugal, strengthening the airline’s cargo presence in one of the world’s fastest-growing air freight markets.

Under the agreement, Aeroprime Group will oversee cargo sales, marketing, and operational support for TAP Air Portugal throughout India. The partnership aims to expand the airline’s cargo footprint and provide Indian exporters and freight forwarders improved access to TAP’s global network connecting Europe, the Americas, and Africa via Lisbon.

Industry observers note that the collaboration is expected to enhance cargo connectivity for key Indian export commodities such as pharmaceuticals, automotive components, textiles, and perishables. The appointment also reflects growing demand for reliable air cargo services between India and Europe.

Both companies said the partnership will focus on strengthening customer relationships, optimizing cargo capacity utilization, and supporting the increasing trade flows between India and global markets served by TAP Air Portugal.
