OOCL has launched its new China–Indonesia CIS1 service, strengthening intra-Asia shipping links and expanding cargo connectivity between key manufacturing centers in China and fast-growing consumer markets in Indonesia.
The dedicated service is expected to provide shippers with improved schedule reliability, competitive transit times, and additional capacity for a wide range of cargo, including industrial goods, retail products, electronics, and raw materials.
The move reflects rising trade demand across Southeast Asia, where businesses are increasingly relying on regional supply chains and shorter-haul maritime routes to support production and distribution networks.
By introducing the CIS1 service, OOCL aims to enhance its regional network coverage and offer customers more flexible logistics solutions across one of Asia’s most dynamic trade corridors.
