Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) Bengaluru has announced the commencement of cargo flight operations by China Central Longhao Airlines on the Zhengzhou–Bengaluru route, marking a significant boost to air freight connectivity between India and China.
The inaugural flight linking Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport (CGO) and Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) was operated on April 24, with WFS BLR serving as the cargo handling partner.
The deployment of the iconic Boeing 747 freighter on the route underscores the growing demand for high-capacity cargo movement and highlights Bengaluru’s rising importance as a logistics hub in the region.
Industry stakeholders view this development as a step forward in strengthening bilateral trade links and enhancing supply chain efficiency. The new service is expected to facilitate smoother cargo flows, supporting industries reliant on time-sensitive shipments.
WFS BLR said the partnership reflects its commitment to enabling seamless cargo operations while expanding global connectivity through strategic collaborations.
