Global supply chain company CEVA Logistics has opened a new automated distribution centre in China, expanding its contract logistics capabilities and strengthening support for fast-growing retail and e-commerce supply chains in the region. The facility has been launched in collaboration with apparel retailer Bosideng and is designed to improve warehousing efficiency, order fulfilment speed and inventory management.
Located in Changshu, Jiangsu Province, the new distribution centre spans approximately 120,000 square metres and incorporates advanced automation technologies, including automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), intelligent sorting equipment and digital warehouse management systems. The facility is expected to significantly enhance operational efficiency and processing capacity for Bosideng’s nationwide distribution network.
CEVA Logistics said the automated centre will support omnichannel fulfilment operations by handling online and offline retail orders through an integrated logistics platform. The company noted that the use of automation and smart logistics systems will help reduce manual handling, improve order accuracy and accelerate delivery timelines for customers across China.
The project forms part of CEVA Logistics’ broader strategy to expand its logistics footprint in Asia and strengthen partnerships with major retail and consumer brands. The company has continued investing in advanced warehousing and automation solutions as demand rises for faster, technology-driven supply chain services in the region.
Industry analysts say logistics providers across Asia are rapidly increasing investments in automated distribution infrastructure to meet growing e-commerce volumes, labour efficiency requirements and higher customer expectations for delivery speed and inventory visibility.
