Rio Brasil Terminal has strengthened its cargo handling capabilities with the addition of new quay crane infrastructure, aimed at improving operational efficiency and supporting growing container volumes.

The new equipment is expected to enhance vessel handling performance, increase productivity at the terminal, and provide greater flexibility in managing container movements. The investment forms part of the terminal’s efforts to modernise operations and improve service levels for shipping customers.

The deployment of additional quay cranes will help optimise loading and unloading processes, reduce vessel turnaround times, and support smoother cargo flows through the facility.

As global trade continues to drive demand for efficient port services, terminals are increasingly investing in advanced equipment and infrastructure upgrades to improve capacity and competitiveness.

The latest enhancement reinforces Rio Brasil Terminal’s focus on expanding operational capabilities and strengthening its role within Brazil’s container logistics network.
