CMA CGM India has launched a new weekly export block train service connecting ICD Garhi Harsaru in the National Capital Region (NCR) with Mundra Port, further enhancing its inland logistics network and strengthening multimodal connectivity for exporters.
The dedicated service, inaugurated in association with Gateway Distriparks Limited (GDL), will operate every Thursday and has a carrying capacity of up to 180 TEUs per train. It provides direct connectivity to CMA CGM’s major shipping services, including INDAMEX, EPIC, MEDEX and MIDAS, enabling seamless access to key international markets.
With the introduction of this service, CMA CGM now operates eight weekly export block train services linking North India inland container depots (ICDs) to Mundra Port. The expanded network is aimed at improving supply chain reliability, reducing transit times, and offering customers scheduled rail connectivity as part of the company’s integrated logistics solutions.
The launch underscores CMA CGM India’s continued focus on strengthening rail-based freight movement and expanding multimodal logistics infrastructure to support India’s growing export trade. The company said the initiative reflects its commitment to delivering efficient, sustainable and customer-centric supply chain solutions across the country.
The inauguration marks another milestone in the long-standing collaboration between CMA CGM India and Gateway Distriparks Limited in enhancing inland cargo movement and port connectivity.
