    APM Terminals Pipavav has enhanced its emergency preparedness capabilities with the induction of a new Multipurpose Fire Tender, reinforcing its commitment to safety and operational resilience across the port.

    The advanced firefighting vehicle was inaugurated by Managing Director Girish Aggarwal in the presence of the company’s senior management team. Following the inauguration, the keys were ceremonially handed over to the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) team, which demonstrated the fire tender’s advanced operational capabilities.

    The new fire tender is equipped with integrated water, foam and dry chemical firefighting systems, along with modern rescue and emergency support equipment. The addition is expected to significantly strengthen the terminal’s ability to respond swiftly and effectively to a wide range of emergencies.

    According to the company, the induction of the fire tender reflects its continued focus on building future-ready emergency response capabilities while reinforcing a safety-first culture across its operations.

    APM Terminals Pipavav stated that safety remains a core value embedded in every operational decision, with continued investments in infrastructure and preparedness aimed at ensuring the protection of employees, customers, assets and the surrounding community.
