Chennai International Terminals Pvt. Ltd. (CITPL) has set a new operational milestone by recording its highest-ever monthly container throughput of 97,211 TEUs in June 2026, surpassing its previous record of 94,330 TEUs achieved in October 2021.
The achievement reflects the terminal’s sustained focus on operational efficiency, productivity, and customer-centric services while reinforcing Chennai Port’s position as a key gateway for India’s international trade.
