COSCO SHIPPING has launched the CHX3 service connecting Peru and Costa Rica, expanding its regional shipping network and enhancing trade connectivity across Latin America.

The new service is designed to provide faster and more reliable transportation for containerized cargo between the two countries, supporting the movement of agricultural products, consumer goods, industrial cargo, and other key commodities. The direct connection is expected to improve transit efficiency and offer customers greater schedule reliability.

According to the company, the CHX3 route strengthens COSCO SHIPPING’s presence in the Latin American market while complementing its existing regional and global service network. The service is aimed at meeting growing demand for efficient maritime logistics and supporting trade between Pacific coast economies.

The launch also reflects the carrier’s strategy to expand its service portfolio in response to increasing cargo volumes and evolving customer requirements. Enhanced connectivity is expected to improve supply chain resilience and provide exporters and importers with more flexible shipping options.

With the introduction of the CHX3 service, COSCO SHIPPING continues to invest in strengthening maritime links across Latin America, reinforcing its commitment to facilitating regional trade and delivering comprehensive logistics solutions to customers.
