PSA Mumbai has inaugurated 16 new IN Gates and the Hypotenuse Road at its container terminal in the presence of Gaurav Dayal, Chairman of Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority, along with industry stakeholders and partners.
The newly commissioned infrastructure is aimed at improving traffic flow into and within the terminal, significantly reducing truck turnaround time, and facilitating smoother movement of export cargo.
The addition of the 16 IN Gates is expected to streamline gate operations and ease congestion, while the new Hypotenuse Road will enhance internal connectivity, enabling more efficient cargo movement across the terminal.
PSA Mumbai said the development reflects its continued commitment to operational excellence and infrastructure enhancement. The company noted that these improvements will optimize terminal performance while delivering a more reliable and efficient experience for customers, logistics partners, transporters, and other stakeholders.
The infrastructure expansion forms part of PSA Mumbai’s ongoing efforts to strengthen capacity, improve service quality, and support the growing container trade through India’s premier gateway port.
