Maersk has cancelled the scheduled northbound sailing of AS Sara voyage 633N on its Adriatic–South East Mediterranean (SLI) service as part of measures to optimise its network.
The vessel was originally scheduled to depart Haifa on August 12, 2026. Maersk said the blank sailing is intended to align vessel capacity with current market demand while supporting schedule reliability across the service network.
For customers affected by the cancellation, Maersk said confirmed bookings will be protected on the next available sailing, subject to operational constraints. The carrier is considering AS Sara voyage 634N as the replacement sailing for the cancelled voyage.
Local Maersk customer service teams will contact affected customers directly regarding cargo arrangements and revised sailing plans.
The adjustment comes as carriers continue to fine-tune vessel deployment and capacity in response to changing cargo demand and network conditions.
