Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) to strengthen India’s export cold chain ecosystem and promote efficient logistics solutions for agricultural and processed food exports.
The MoU, signed on September 17, 2026, in New Delhi, establishes a collaborative framework between the two organisations to support the development of export-oriented cold chain logistics.
The partnership aims to enhance cooperation in cold chain services and improve logistics solutions for agricultural and processed food products. The collaboration is expected to support efficient handling and movement of temperature-sensitive export cargo, contributing to India’s agricultural export logistics capabilities.
APEDA is a statutory authority established under the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority Act, 1985, under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Shri Abhishek Dev, IAS, Chairman, APEDA, and Shri AK Panda, Chairman and Managing Director, CONCOR. Shri Vijoy Kumar Singh, Director – International Marketing and Operations, CONCOR, and Shri Vivek Gupta, Director – Finance, CONCOR, along with other officers from CONCOR and APEDA, were also present.
CONCOR expressed its appreciation to APEDA for reposing its trust in the company’s cold chain logistics services.
The agreement marks a step towards closer institutional cooperation to strengthen cold chain infrastructure and facilitate more efficient logistics for India’s agricultural and processed food exports.
