India’s Consul General in Dubai, Dr E. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, held a series of high-level meetings in the UAE to explore opportunities to strengthen bilateral trade, investment and business ties with Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah.
Reddy met Sheikh Khalid Bin Abdullah Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ports, Customs and Free Zones Authority, with discussions focusing on expanding bilateral cooperation, trade and investment and further strengthening India-Sharjah economic ties.
During his visit to Ras Al Khaimah, the Consul General called on Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah. The discussions covered opportunities to deepen the longstanding India-Ras Al Khaimah partnership, particularly in trade, investment, business, people-to-people ties and cultural exchanges.
Reddy thanked the Ruler for the continued support extended to the Indian community in Ras Al Khaimah and reaffirmed the Consulate’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations.
The Consul General also met Mohamed Mosbbeh Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The meeting focused on enhancing India-UAE economic and commercial relations, with particular emphasis on promoting trade, investment and greater engagement between Indian and Ras Al Khaimah business communities.
Reddy further held discussions with Puneet Jain, Chief Strategy Officer, and Mohammed Al Blooshi, Strategic Partnership Manager, of Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ). The meeting covered matters of mutual interest and opportunities to further strengthen economic and business ties between India and Ras Al Khaimah.
The engagements underline India’s continued efforts to deepen economic cooperation with the UAE’s individual emirates and expand opportunities for trade, investment and business partnerships.
