CMA CGM has introduced a seasonal call at Iskenderun, Türkiye, to its Indian Subcontinent–Mediterranean Express (MEDEX) service, strengthening connectivity between southern Türkiye, the Mediterranean, the Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent.

The additional port call is expected to remain part of the MEDEX service rotation until the end of December 2026. The move is aimed at supporting seasonal export demand from Türkiye, particularly refrigerated cargo shipments of citrus fruits and apples.

The inclusion of Iskenderun will provide exporters in southern Türkiye with a direct connection to key markets across the Mediterranean, the Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent, offering additional shipping options for time-sensitive and temperature-controlled cargo.

The revised MEDEX service rotation is as follows:

    Port Said – Malta – Genoa – Marseille – Valencia – Piraeus – Iskenderun – Beirut – Jeddah – Djibouti – Duqm – Mundra – Nhava Sheva – Colombo – Djibouti – Jeddah – Port Said.
