    Deendayal Port Authority (DPA) Kandla, has once again demonstrated its prowess in cargo handling by setting a new record, handling an extraordinary 6,77,204 metric tons (MT) of cargo in just 24 hours on 28th June 2024. This remarkable achievement surpasses all previous records among Major Ports of India, setting a new benchmark in the industry.

    DPA broke its previous record of 6,64,904 MT, which it achieved on January 23, 2023. The new milestone reflects the port’s continuous commitment to efficiency and excellence in cargo handling operations.

    The accomplishment was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Traffic Manager, Ratna Sekhar Rao, Deputy Conservator Capt. Pradeep Mohanty, and their entire team. Their strategic planning, seamless coordination, and relentless hard work played a crucial role in achieving this outstanding feat.
