Weserport GmbH has commissioned Ardelt to supply a double jib slewing crane with integrated hopper model Tukan K.

The crane is destined for Terminal 3 of the Weserport in Bremen and is scheduled to go into operation by December 2025. This means Ardelt is once again a manufacturer of new cranes. In line with the new strategy adopted in 2023, the existing engineering and service divisions will thus be supplemented by another important business unit.

One year after the restart of the traditional crane manufacturer in Eberswalde under new ownership, the order books are well filled for all business areas with manager and partner Uwe Grünhagen having said: “We are particularly pleased about the continued trust of our long-standing customers and look forward to a successful future for crane construction in Eberswalde.”
