TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks (TVS ILP) has announced its entry into the Indore market by acquiring 20 acres of land in Pithampur Sector 7 from the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC). The company intends to invest ₹200 crore to develop a Grade-A logistics park, aiming to address the rising demand for high-quality warehousing in the region. This development is expected to significantly boost the local economy by creating over 1,000 jobs and enhancing the market for local products.

Situated 25 kilometres from Indore’s city centre, the Pithampur facility is strategically located along National Highway 47 (IndoreAhmedabad Highway), providing excellent connectivity. Indore’s central position in India enables efficient distribution of goods
nationwide, establishing it as an ideal location for businesses seeking to optimise their supply chain operations. Additionally, as a well-connected SMART city, Indore has emerged as a prominent industrial hub, attracting companies keen to improve their operational efficiency and expand their reach.

Given Indore’s strong presence in the automotive, heavy engineering, textile, and manufacturing sectors, alongside the growing demand for advanced infrastructure, TVS ILP’s logistics park is well-positioned to meet the needs of industries such as e-commerce,
retail, and FMCG. The facility will introduce modern, technology-driven warehouses that adhere to international standards of operational efficiency and sustainability, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of businesses operating in the region.

Dr. Ramnath Subramaniam, CEO of TVS ILP, stated, “The landlocked state of Madhya Pradesh has a lot of potential to become a hub for logistics given its location and connectivity to other states. Our entry into Indore aligns with TVS ILP’s vision of being the
industry leader in tech-enabled infrastructure solutions. We aim to further bolster the city’s infrastructure and provide opportunities to potential global and domestic customers to enhance their presence by being part of our strategically located warehouse.”
