AD Ports Group has awarded major contracts worth approximately AED 735 million (USD 200 million) for the development of the new Noatum Ports Pointe-Noire Terminal in the Republic of the Congo.

The contracts cover marine and landside infrastructure works, along with the supply of advanced crane equipment for the container terminal being developed in partnership with CMA CGM Group through CMA Terminals.

The project, developed under a 30-year concession agreement with the Congolese government, will feature a 420-metre quay wall, 16-metre depth, and a 100,000 sqm logistics area capable of handling larger container vessels. Construction is expected to be completed within two years.

The terminal is projected to create up to 9,000 direct and indirect jobs and strengthen Pointe-Noire’s position as a key maritime gateway for Central and West Africa.
