Adani Gangavaram Port, the deepest and one of the most modern ports in India has reinforced its commitment to environmental sustainability through a CSR activity during Ganesh Chaturthi distribution of 2000 clay Ganesh idols to its employees and the public at the port emphasizing its dedication to eco-friendly practices and community engagement.

This initiative is a part of AGPL’s continued commitment to green practices and environmental conservation. The distribution of clay idols encourages the public to opt for eco-friendly alternatives during the festive season, reducing the use of harmful materials and contributing to a more sustainable celebration.

Through this effort, AGPL aims to increase awareness about the importance of adopting sustainable practices, especially during cultural events. In addition to the clay idol distribution, AGPL regularly engages in various green initiatives such as plantation drives, reusable & jute bag distributions, and ongoing awareness campaigns about the importance of environmental responsibility.

Speaking on the occasion, Adani Gangavaram Port Limited management said, our CSR activities reflect our dedication to integrating sustainability into every aspect of our operations. “The enthusiastic response from the community highlights the collective effort needed to tackle environmental challenges. We are happy to see such strong support for sustainable practices during Ganesh Chaturthi, reinforcing our commitment to promoting eco-friendly traditions. This initiative underscores the role we all play in protecting our environment.”
