Afcons Infrastructure has secured a ₹7,544 crore railway infrastructure contract in Croatia, marking its entry into the European market and expanding its global project portfolio.

The project involves the construction and development of a key railway corridor aimed at improving passenger and freight connectivity across strategic transport routes in Croatia.

Company officials said the contract represents a significant milestone in Afcons’ international expansion strategy, strengthening its presence in Europe alongside its existing projects in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

The railway project is expected to enhance regional mobility, improve logistics efficiency and support Croatia’s broader infrastructure modernization and European transport integration plans.

The deal also highlights growing participation of Indian infrastructure firms in global construction markets, particularly in large-scale transport and engineering projects across developed economies.
