Allcargo Group and the National Maritime Foundation (NMF) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in logistics, maritime research, and supply chain development. The partnership aims to combine industry expertise with policy research to support innovation and enhance the competitiveness of India’s logistics and maritime sectors.
Under the agreement, the two organizations will work together on research projects, knowledge-sharing initiatives, policy discussions, and capacity-building programs focused on multimodal logistics, maritime infrastructure, trade facilitation, and emerging supply chain trends. The collaboration is also expected to encourage greater engagement between industry, academia, and policymakers.
The partnership seeks to contribute to India’s long-term logistics transformation by promoting best practices, advancing digitalization, and supporting sustainable logistics solutions. Joint studies and industry events will provide insights into evolving global trade patterns and help identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and resilience.
The MoU aligns with the country’s broader goals of strengthening maritime capabilities under initiatives such as Maritime India Vision 2030 and improving logistics performance through infrastructure development and policy reforms. By leveraging the strengths of both organizations, the collaboration is expected to support evidence-based policymaking and foster innovation across India’s maritime and logistics ecosystem.
