    Ashapura Shipping Group Sets New GSSP Loading Record at Deendayal Port

    Ashapura Shipping Group has established a new benchmark in fertilizer cargo handling at Deendayal Port Authority by recording the highest-ever loading of Granulated Single Super Phosphate (GSSP) within a 24-hour period.

    The Group loaded 36,390 metric tonnes of GSSP onto M.V. HSL Yokohama in 23 hours and 5 minutes, surpassing the previous port record of 26,336 metric tonnes. The achievement has been officially certified by Deendayal Port Authority (DPA).

    The milestone marks Ashapura Shipping Group’s entry into the bulk fertilizer cargo segment, adding to its established presence in dry bulk cargo handling at Kandla.

    The record-setting operation was carried out by Shree Ashapura Stevedores, a unit of Ashapura Shipping Group, while customs clearance was handled by Shri Balaji Infraport Pvt. Ltd., another Group company. The cargo was exported by Transworld Furtichem Ltd.

    Headquartered at Deendayal Port Authority, Ashapura Shipping Group has been operating in the maritime logistics sector for more than two decades. The Group provides integrated logistics services including stevedoring, customs clearance, transportation, warehousing, chartering, vessel operations, and allied port services.

    According to the company, it has handled more than 7 million metric tonnes of dry bulk cargo at Deendayal Port and operates a fleet of over 200 cargo handling equipment and transport assets. Its cargo portfolio includes coal, salt, aggregates, bentonite, mill scale, gypsum, iron ore, fertilizers, and other dry bulk commodities.

    The latest achievement highlights the Group’s expanding capabilities in fertilizer logistics while reinforcing its position as a key maritime logistics service provider at Deendayal Port Authority.
