Asyad Group, Oman’s leading integrated logistics provider, has successfully completed a high-stakes breakbulk operation, transporting a massive LNG cryogenic tank for Gas Lab Asia from Northern India to Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

The project involved relocating a 115-metric-ton tank, measuring 28 meters in length and 5.5 meters in height, over 1,500 kilometers from Northern India to Mumbai Port. The three-week-long overland journey culminated in the cargo being shipped across the Arabian Sea to its final destination in Dammam.

Juma Al Maskari, Asyad Logistics Director, underscored the technical complexities of the operation. “Transporting cryogenic gas storage tanks requires advanced engineering assessments, stringent safety protocols, and meticulous route planning. The successful execution of this project demonstrates Asyad’s capabilities in handling specialized, high-value logistics operations with precision and reliability.”

The achievement reaffirms Asyad Group’s expertise in cross-border project logistics and its role in delivering world-class, end-to-end logistics solutions across the region.
