    Balmer Lawrie has entered a landmark 10-year agreement with NMDC Steel Limited to move finished steel under the Liberalized Special Freight Train Operator (LSFTO) policy of Indian Railways.

    As part of the partnership, Balmer Lawrie will operate 12 BFNS wagon rakes to transport hot-rolled coils, sheets, and plates from NMDC Steel’s Nagarnar plant to destinations across the country.

    The long-term deal aims to strengthen rail-based bulk logistics, improve evacuation efficiency, and ensure reliable nationwide distribution, highlighting Balmer Lawrie’s growing presence in rail logistics and integrated supply chain solutions.
