Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd., a Government of India enterprise, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PanIIT Alumni India to offer integrated travel, logistics and mobility services to the global IIT alumni community. The agreement was formalised on January 18, 2026, during the Pan IIT Tech4Bharat Summit in Chennai.

Under the collaboration, alumni in India and abroad will be able to access Balmer Lawrie’s comprehensive suite of services—including end-to-end travel management, logistics solutions, relocation support, industrial packaging and warehousing—through a dedicated interface integrated with the PanIIT platform to ensure seamless, transparent and reliable service delivery.

Officials from both organisations emphasised that the partnership brings institutional credibility and government-backed infrastructure to the IIT alumni network, enhancing mobility, compliance and convenience for corporate and personal needs. Alumni will benefit from features such as LTC-compliant government travel benefits, competitive logistics support and streamlined relocation options.

The move highlights an effort to leverage public sector expertise and alumni outreach to provide trusted services tailored for a high-impact professional community, while also reinforcing Balmer Lawrie’s growing footprint in travel, logistics and mobility solutions.
