BEML Limited has secured an export and maintenance order worth ₹75.58 crore for heavy mobility vehicles in Southeast Asia, strengthening the company’s international business and expanding its presence in overseas markets.

The order covers the export of heavy mobility vehicles along with associated maintenance services. The contract highlights BEML’s capabilities in specialised mobility solutions and its efforts to increase exports of indigenously developed equipment.

The maintenance component is expected to support the operational availability and long-term performance of the supplied vehicles, while strengthening customer support in the overseas market.

BEML, a public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, manufactures a range of products for defence, mining, construction, rail and metro transportation sectors. Its portfolio includes specialised vehicles and heavy equipment designed for demanding operational conditions.

The latest contract aligns with India’s broader push to expand defence and engineering exports, strengthen domestic manufacturing and increase the global reach of Indian public sector enterprises.

The order also reinforces BEML’s focus on overseas markets, where demand for specialised mobility equipment and dependable maintenance support can create opportunities for Indian manufacturers.
