BEML Ltd has secured a ₹157 crore contract to manufacture 15 sets (30 cars) of Switch Rail Grinding Machines for Loram Rail Maintenance India Private Ltd, a global leader in advanced rail maintenance technologies. The machines will be supplied to Indian Railways.

“This order marks another milestone in our journey of strengthening India’s rail infrastructure with advanced, indigenous solutions,” said Shantanu Roy, Chairman & Managing Director, BEML Ltd.

The high-performance machines are designed to reduce maintenance downtime, increase asset lifecycle, and contribute to more efficient rail operations.
