In a significant push towards strengthening agri-logistics, a full rake of 15 parcel vans carrying chikoo was successfully dispatched from New Ancheli (ACLN) in Gujarat to Adarsh Nagar Mandi in Delhi.

This marks the season’s first rake movement of chikoo, undertaken by Amalsad Vibhag Vividh Karyakari Sahakari Khedut Mandli Ltd. under the Mumbai Unit of DFCCIL.

The initiative highlights the growing role of rail-based logistics in transporting perishable commodities. By enabling faster and more efficient movement, the Dedicated Freight Corridor is helping farmers access distant markets, expand their reach, and reduce post-harvest losses.
