This milestone follows the recently formalised procedure allowing the import and export of gems and jewellery through personal carriage via the Precious Cargo Customs Clearance Centre (PCCCC), BKC, Mumbai, effective May 1st, 2025.

BVC pioneered this logistics breakthrough by being the first to implement the hand-carry model under the new framework, showcasing agility, preparedness, and a strong commitment to client-centric solutions.

The hand-carry model offers an unmatched combination of speed and security, making it ideal for urgent international deliveries, exhibitions, and high-value transactions.

Speaking on the achievement, Mr. Uday Chinai, Managing Director, BVC Group, said, “This marks a defining moment in our industry. With the successful execution of our first hand carry shipment from Mumbai, BVC continues to lead in offering reliable, innovative logistics solutions that match the pace and precision our clients demand.”

This service reinforces BVC’s commitment to innovation and delivering trust across borders.
