Global transportation and logistics provider cargo-partner has joined the UN Global Compact, a United Nations project that encourages businesses throughout the world to adopt and report on sustainable and socially responsible practices.
The UN Global Compact is a voluntary project which motivates companies to align their plans and operations with universal human rights, labor, environmental, and anti-corruption principles, as well as to take activities that advance societal aims.
The program, which was officially launched in 2000, now includes 13,000 business participants and other stakeholders from over 170 countries. Regular reporting holds participants responsible, and they are encouraged to promote change through new ideas and collaborations.

In addition, cargo-partner has ISO 14001 certifications in many countries, demonstrating its excellent environmental management standards, and numerous digitization projects have resulted in considerable resource consumption reductions.
